Post Ettiquette
RP posts are to be written in the present-tense.
Incorrect: It was chilly, but his silver and blue scarf was tucked tight around his neck, keeping him warm. His glasses were sliding down the bridge of his nose but he didn't seem to mind, instead he was focused on his Charms book, which was open and in his lap.

Please try to avoid making posts that are ridiculously short (E.g. one or two sentences). A paragraph mininum is preferred, though we know this is not always possible. It's okay when applicable, but please do not make it a regular occurance.
OOC Posts
Out of Character Posts are to be posted on the roleplay boards. All OOC interaction should be posted in the The Leaky Cauldron.
This arose because I recently recieved a few requests for a section of the forum to include a place for introductions/sharing other contact info and general interactions between the players. Thus, The Leaky Cauldron was born. Why The Leaky Cauldron? This is the entrance from Muggle London to Diagon Alley. The place where on one side of the street, you're a man in a bowler hat and on the other, you're a wizard with a wand.
If you have a short, out of character question or statement that must be added to you your post (such as confusion with something the previous poster said), you may denote an OOC post by placing the text within *asterisks* and attaching it to the end of your in character post.
Roleplay Conduct
Please do not flame other users. Conflict between characters is okay (Slytherins, for some reason I'm looking at you, haha), but please do not target other users for petty reasons. I will ban you.
If you have a complaint to lodge against another member, please bring it to our attention and we will deal with it as we see fit.
Keeping Player Knowledge Separate From Character Knowledge
You may read conversations and happenings by other characters in other parts of the castle. Until your character sees, hears, talks to someone else about these things, please treat it as such. Your character is your character and you are you.
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THIS
This board can and will have mature themes. Sex, drugs, violence, language, whatever. If your post contains mature themes, please add (NC-17) to the end of the title of the post, as a warning for users. You are not obligated to post mature themes, but they will be present.
