Personal History: Elizabet grew up in England, was a Slytherin when she attended Hogwarts. Kept a low profile during the War. Became Headmistress two years ago, so she's still relatively new at it, but still takes the job extremely serious. She is an only child. Not much is known about her dating past.

Personality: Very. . . intense. She is a perfectionist and quite O.C.D. She's cunning and will bend the truth, but never lies. She's considered almost rude because of how brutally honest she is.

Habits: Reads and jogs off her frustration in her spare time. Other than that, nail-tapping is bad habit she's trying to break. Grinds her teeth in her sleep, probably related to stress.

Likes: The color silver, jazz music and a warm cup of tea.

Dislikes: Most people. They whine too much and give her a headache. She also hates dogs, frogs, and, ironically enough, snakes.

Social Background/Stereotype: Comes from a wealthy family but her parents provided no assistance once she turned seventeen. Everything she's gotten she's come into on her own. She is estranged from her parents. She is usually regarded as snobbish because of her brisk, business-like manner.

Bad experiences: Was taken advantage of during the war by a group of Death Eaters, she is ridiculously bitter towards men and almost all people now, but still strives for a positive outcome because of it.

Best memory: The day she cut all ties from her family. She's never felt happier than she did when she first felt that her life was completely in her hands.

Skills: She's exceptionally good at incantations, improving situations, paperwork, getting work done regardless of how tedious, and, for some reason, is a natural at the Muggle saxaphone.

Skin/Body Type: Vlad has slightly slanted eyes with high cheekbones that make his ethnicity hard to place. He has a swarthy complexion, but little warmth. Most days he appears pallid. He is tall and lanky, the definition of teenage gangly limbs. He is thin, with stringy muscles.

Clothing: When he's not wearing his school uniform, he might be seen in black wool slacks and a v neck sweater. He might wear a crisp shirt reminiscent of Muggle's Victorian clothing.

He wears a number of strange silver rings with odd archaic symbols (he says they've been passed down through his linage and have assorted power and protection charms on them, he rarely removes them).

Personal History: His father recently got a job with the Ministry of Magic, and relocated their whole family from their home of Russia to the Welsh Countryside. He was not happy with the executive decision. His father is large and overbearing, and mother is demanding and shrewd. He has one sister who is 9 years younger.

Having grown up in the wizarding world, anything muggle related is a complete mystery. He distances himself from them because of fear of the unknown.

Personality: Vlad is quiet and brooding. He does not trust easily. His friendships are more like business arrangements than intimate friends. His strong accent has earned him ridicule, so he tries not speak much. He is quite apathetic about most things, and has a dark twisted sense of humor. Prideful, he will accept any challenge. In his personal relationships, his deep insecurity leads him to jealousy easily.
If he causes trouble, he will most likely find a way to frame someone else.

Habits: Flipping his hair out of his face, slouching, limbering walk.

Likes: Luxury items, strong wine, beautiful women, History of Magic, antique books, cats, fur hats.

Dislikes: Flying, heights, annoying laughs, touchy people, dogs, girls who seek attention.

Social Background/Stereotype: Fairly wealthy family, Pureblood, Angsty.

Bad experiences: When shopping for school items alone, he was set upon by a group of Ravenclaw students who ridiculed his accent and appearance, calling him a Vampire. He reacted angrily, and hexed the leader of the group. He was 'grounded' for a month by his parents. He was mostly thankful that he didn't have to socialize with anyone during that time.

Best memory: His first female friend doted on him and treated him with respect. He cherished his first sexual experience with her.

Skills: Good at household potions, excellent at D.A.D.A. He has a knack for hexes, and prefers a sneaky attack.

Personal History: Rowan is a half-blood, his father is a Muggle lawyer in their hometown of Killarney, Ireland, and his mum is a witch. He has a younger brother who will be starting at Hogwarts next year.

Personality: Intimidating because he appears to have everything together, sharp tongue and great with verbal repertoire, but very pleasant. Usually smiling and is very animated, always seems to be slightly flustered and in a hurry. Ridiculously loyal to his friends, but very secretive about himself. Would absolutely never speak badly of someone until they've pushed him to his limits.

Habits: Nail-biting, which he's trying to quit because it's a filthy habit. Also counts his steps while he walks. He becomes annoyed if his count is broken.

Likes: Quidditch, winning, reading, hanging out with his best friend Matt, and trying to make his own, new potions.

Dislikes: Snobby people, assholes, meat.

Social Background/Stereotype: Is usually sorted into either the 'Jock' cliche for being on the Quidditch Team, or the 'Nerd' cliche for being in Ravenclaw. Both are actually overrated, he has a flair for the dramatics and would love to try out for the Muggle Theatre after school.

Bad experiences: None, really. He's usually smart enough to avoid trouble and tries to mind his own business. Most memorable is probably his parental divorce and he tends to avoid relationships now.

Best memory: Winning his first Quidditch match. The crown went absolutely mad and he's been addicted to being a crowd pleaser ever since.

Skills: Homework, story telling, and smuggling Muggle Pot into Hogwarts. Hey, it's not an electronic device, and isn't illegal under Wizarding Law.

Personal History: Comes from a relatively well-off Muggle family in Ireland, but is originally from Wales. Family moved when he was three. Is an illegitimate child. Lives with mother, adoptive father, younger twin brother and sister, and three dogs (two Dalmatians and a mutt). Grew up visiting his real father's mother (a witch), but his real father's location is unknown.

Personality: A true Hufflepuff at heart, but has an underlying Slytherin side. Curious, likes to study strange facts and people. Prone to excessive daydreaming about the future, people, and imaginary conversations/circumstances. Isn't really aware about what's 'cool' so looks a bit ragged during school down time. Quiet, but can go on forever about things he enjoys. Loves to make others laugh in the right setting. Easily frustrated with meticulous work, unless it's a personal project. A Perfectionist. Seemingly bored and aloof alone, but livens up considerably when with friends. Rarely gets truly angry, but is relentless when pushed far enough. Likes to look for hidden meanings in everything, including people. Has a pretty good judge of character and is very wary of charming folk. Enjoys pulling pranks on occasion, especially since he's never the first to be suspected.

Habits: Occasionally skips classes to wander around the castle or grounds. Nervous lip-biting. Always has to be doing something with his hands.

Skin/Body Type:Dany's body is slightly disproportionate when it comes to her weight. She's always been able to eat whatever she wanted while remaining exceedingly thin, and almost faerie like in her features. Her eyes are just slightly too round for her face and often cause her to look surprised at all times. She's usually pretty confident, but gets really touchy if anyone brings up the freckles that dust her otherwise pale skin.

Clothing:Danyanka is a HUGE fan of color, sometimes to the extreme. She is obsessed with lace and frills, and will hide them under her robes just to make herself feel unique.

Piercings/Tattoos/markings (if any):Dany only has one tattoo of a green dragon fly behind her left ear, but she has six piercings. Two on each ear, a bar through each collarbone, and her nose.

Personal History:Danyanka grew up in Glasgow, Scotland in a small flat with her mother, her older sister Sera, and her twin brother Evan. Her father, although never home, and mother were both of Romanian descent but moved to Scotland after the war to try and lead a normal, magic-free life. Dany spent most of her childhood learning music, and was well known for her prodigy-like ability to learn any instrument in just a few days. Evan and Danyanka were inseparable up until her letter from Hogwarts came and his didn't. For her first two years away at school, Evan didn't speak to her once which caused Dany to become very anti-social and studies-driven for awhile. While still completely invested in her studies, Dany now is overly outgoing and constantly trying to make new friends to try and fill the void of her twin.

Personality:Dany is hyper as can be and has quite the unruly wild side while still remaining a top-scoring student. She is compassionate and will do anything when it comes to people she cares about, but she finds it hard to reign in her anger when something upsets her. She's brutally honest, but can be the sweetest person you've ever met when she wants to be.

Habits:Smoking as well as chewing on her bottom lip when she's nervous.

Likes:Guitar, Music, Astronomy, Transfiguration, Charms, Performing in a Band, Sewing, and sweets.

Dislikes:Snakes, people who are too uptight,and she is crazy OCD about instruments that are out of tune.

Social Background/Stereotype:Dany has been known to hang out with all sorts of people, but finds that she fits in well with those who are more introverted than herself, due to not feeling pressured to fit into a stereotype. She has the scene-kid feel, but without the drama for the most part.

Bad experiences:She never really talks about the past, so no one really knows.

Best memory:Sitting on the beach with her brother and sister, and making bets on who could build the best sandcastle. Evan won, but Sera's was the only castle still standing after the tide came in.

Skills:Dany excels in any class she's put into, but has always had a real talent when it comes to transfiguration, charms, and music. She spends all her time in the practice rooms either working on her spells or one of the many musical instruments she has picked up over the years.

Skin/Body Type: Lightly tanned skin from hours spent in the sun. He is tall and lanky with long limbs, toned from spending his time as a beater. He has freckles across the bridge of his nose, a wide smile and is almost always seen grinning.

Clothing: A messy person in general, his school shirt is usually untucked, a couple of buttons loose and his tie tied to his bag. Out of uniform he favours a pair of jeans, Converse, a t-shirt and a hooded jacket.

Piercings/Tattoos/markings (if any): His ear is pierced twice, he has a small birth mark on his neck and a small dragon tattoo encircles his left wrist.

Personal History: Lived a normal life being exposed to both the wizard and muggle worlds due to his parentage and was his little sister’s best friend. At nine his paternal grandmother died while he was in the room, though he didn’t know her very well. It also allowed him to see Thestrals when he went to Hogwarts, though he doesn’t publicise this. He received his Hogwarts letter at 11 just like everyone else and was sorted into Gryffindor. He quickly established that he wouldn’t stick to just one group of friends and had few problems with having friends in other houses and in his second year, his younger sister was sorted into Gryffindor with him.

Personality: Romulus is in life for the fun of it, is extremely carefree and is almost always seen with a wide smile on his face. He doesn’t much care what anyone thinks of him and does what he feels like, even if that means he’s going to walk around Hogwarts on his hands for the whole day. He isn’t too fussed about homework and often skips it to play Quidditch with his friends, who can be from any house or year level. He isn’t too big on house prejudices (but, okay, he’s still a little suspicious of the Slytherins) and he’s fiercely defensive of the younger years, even if he’s not in their house. He also hates seeing anyone upset and will do his best to cheer them up, even if he’s never met them before.

Habits: Takes to hitting himself in the head with whatever’s nearest if he misses something obvious, falling asleep where he falls (usually in the Gryffindor common room but there have been some instances involving trees), drumming the table with his wand when he’s thinking and chewing on a muggle pen he always carries around.

Likes: Potions, Quidditch, magical creatures (particularly dragons and thestrals), pranking people when he’s bored and swimming in the Black Lake.

Dislikes: Transfiguration, going to class, waking up early, bullies, bigots

Social Background/Stereotype: Comes from a well-off family - a muggle father and a pureblood mother – though he was never spoilt and preferred to play outside with his Irish Wolfhound. He’s seen as a joker and a bit of a flirt but he doesn’t much care for labels.

Bad experiences: Very few. He was in the same room as his grandmother when she died though he didn’t know her very well so it wasn’t all that traumatic. The worst was probably being chased through the Forbidden Forest by the Acromantula he tried to turn pink when he was eleven. It was a dare.

Best memory: Having his little sister sorted into Gryffindor with him.

Skills: Quidditch, telling stories, Potions, causing trouble, getting into trouble, making people feel better, drawing

Additional Comments: “Did you just dare me? Did he just dare me? Damn it! And I was having such a good day.” Has an OCD need to complete any dare he’s given. No matter what.

Personal History: Muggle-born who was outcasted by most of her family so she went to go live with her Dad's gay brother who had also be shunned from the family. They had a close relationship, but Abigail often had to entertain herself so she became quite introverted.

Personality: Laid back with a sarcastic humor. Mostly keeps to herself and takes time to warm up to. When she warms up to someone she devotes herself entirely to helping them stay happy and comfortable.

Habits: Lip biting when nervous

Name: Hadrian Furnell (Professor)

Hair colour and style: Dark, awfully askew from lack of maintenance. This is not to be confused with the absence of a good hygiene, rather he's lost his comb, and it's likely still inside of his hair.
Eye colour: Grey.
Skin/Body Type: Pasty. Lean, but rather short, a matter which he is insecure about.
Clothing: He has a fondness for pinstripes, sweaters and bow ties. His wardrobe has a stale scent to it, though, and every article is moth-eaten in one way or another.
Piercings/Tattoos/markings (if any): Three piercings, all in his ears.

Personal History: Hadrian's mother, a Czechoslovakian graduate of Durmstrang, eloped with an Englishman from Canterbury. Hadrian was the product of their union, and the eccentric lifestyle they led. Fashioning a gypsy wagon from thicket, twine and magic, his bohemian mother and straight-laced father scoured the English countryside for the sick, wounded or gullible so that she might correct their afflictions with powerful elixirs and charms. His balding father, meanwhile, would indulge in newspapers and tea time and wore stiff suits, sitting rigidly at the table as mother consulted tea leaves.
Hadrian received his Hogwarts letter but did not attend. His mother was quite persistent in her preference for Durmstrang, and the bilingual Hadrian obliged her wishes. There, the wildly eccentric boy did not quite fit in. Alas, without exposure to those his own age, Hadrian had become a rather nervous, mumbling boy who sought inquisitions about the bleak future in crystal orbs, in tea leaves, in constellations and even in the shapes of beef in his stew. The Wizarding World was in turmoil, after all, and the poor teen was intuitive enough to know the instant he'd touched the portkey that would place half the continent between himself and his parents, he would never see either of them again.
Suffice it to say, the boy's grief pushed him over the edge. He was a turbulent force of caution and brawn, of intellect and idiocy. He was absolutely fierce in duel, and deliberately challenged dragons. He became immersed in the defense against the dark arts, and his supply of knowledge endless. In his third year, the student body of Durmstrang fancied him a celebrity after the lone defeat of a Hungarian Horntail which ravaged the school grounds. Conversely, he'd perplex classmates by breaking out into hysterics when served a plate of dinner with the entree barely grazing the vegetables.
He would, however, argue it was in fact these very avid and distressing fears that made him so brave.
After graduation, Hadrian pursued a brief career as an Auror. Extremely adept at his work, it wasn't until his very favorite finger (left, middle) was dislodged from him that he was forced to question this life-threatening career path. Of course, this was after surviving third degree burns from his adam's apple to his ribcage, and utterly crushing his entire foot. He applied to Hogwarts for a teaching position, and has been quite happily employed ever since.

Personality: Fiercely and miserably nervous, Professor Furnell struggles daily with hive outbreaks and a faint stutter. He is quite composed though, poised and confident in his demeanor, though within a mere five minutes of brief, cordial interaction with him, in or outside of the classroom, eyebrows tend to raise. His verbal patterns tend to shift from poetry, to nonsensical jokes, to deadpan disinterest. Only while teaching does the poor professor find harmony and fluidity in his speech. He is quite clearly obsessive-compulsive, too, and demands bizarre "rituals" of his students. If he is touched, his hand shaken, or bumped into, he will temporarily fly into a rage, followed by excessive apologies. Aside from, he is somewhat popular with his students - or, at least, those who know of his true credibility in the profession. It is common for first and second years to seriously question his validity in the subject.

Habits: The nervous tick in his left hand, which clenches and unravels and snaps unpleasantly. Falling into an exhausted doze absolutely anywhere and waking with a start, screaming something Norwegian. He has an incredibly difficult time with women and men alike, though he'll develop secret feelings quite frequently and deliberately torture the recipient to separate himself far from love. Torture methods include various forms of public humiliation, ruthless sarcasm, insults, and sometimes even wedgie hexes.

Likes: Bubble baths, classical music, cheese wedges with grapes, counting things, botony books, skeletons, fire and savory dragon meat.
Dislikes: Large crowds, bad breath, stains, shame, being cold and clammy.
Social Background/Stereotype: Indeed, what would this strange man fall under?
Bad experiences: His parents' deaths. That time when he couldn't find matching socks and cried in his scarf when he was chaperoning last year's Hogsmeade outing because the feeling of an uncoordinated wardrobe made his skin burn and itch and all sorts of unpleasantries.
Best memory: That's a secret.
Skills: He is an absolute ace at conquering any harm or threat, or sensing anything of the nature far before it occurs.

Personal History: She lived with her pure-blood parents until shortly after her last birthday until they had "creative differences." Now she is a gypsy type, usually crashing at a small bed and breakfast where the owner has taken kindly to her.
Personality: She is an outsider looking in. She desperately wants to make friendships, however always feels like she cannot connect with others. Has a humorous side, always usually dark, and in adult content. Her wit snaps with a whip-like quality. She us usually under some random staircase reading a textbook, peeking secretly over to witness human connection. She trusts no one other than her owl "Spoons."
Habits: Scratching her head with one finger, making strange noises, never coming to class with a tie on.
Likes: Reading, hiding so she can observe, music, finding odd objects to fiddle with.
Dislikes: Butterbeer, ties, overt flirting.
Social Background/Stereotype: Typical "gothy" kid.

Personal History: Half Veela,Mother is Serbian, Father is full wizard scottish/icelandic her parents passed away when she was 13 leaving her and her older brother Seth in the care of a dear family friend. Very close to her wolf Maximus.

Personality: Very easy to get along with.Likes a good challenge. At first to some she may seem very shy or withdrawn, but this is due to her being highly observant wanting to get a feel for the other person before interacting properly. Intellectual, Fiercely loyal, and honest with a good heart.The loss of her parents cause her to be much more gaurded than usual. What people tend not to notice is though she puts on quite the colorful personality, she never actually shares much about herself and keeps even those closest around her at arms length.She sometimes thinks the only reason why one may have interest in her is because she is half veela.

Personal History: Born of pure blood, his family was always a diverse, but popular mix at Hogwarts. His father, a Hufflepuff, his mother a Ravenclaw, and his Aunt Elizabet (from his mother's side, and residing Headmistress at Hogwarts) a Slytherin. Despite having positive role models for all of the classes, he felt destined for Gryffindor.

Personality: Being an only child, Matthew was spoiled by his parents. Very mischievous at a young age, it wasn't uncommon for him to sweet talk the neighbor's children into testing "homemade potions" which turned out to be rather disgusting or dangerous affairs. It wasn't until he met his first friend Rowan at a Quidditch World Cup when they were both eight years old that he grasped the word empathy without sacrificing pride. They exchanged letters frequently before attending Hogwarts together. Matthew tries to have a better sense of group mentality, occasionally slipping up with his selfish, childish ways. Friendly and welcoming one second, then suddenly too busy or bored to deal with other people's problems. Prone to bouts of irrational jealousy, but only with people he feels he needs or has to win over. Although brutally honest and impatient, he is very loyal and sincere.

Habits: Oftentimes he speaks before he thinks, resulting in apologies that claw at his pride. Prone to rolling his eyes, or rubbing the back of his neck when people irritate him. Upon first glance, Quill is very clean in appearance, but with further inspection her apron is covered with dark ink splotches. Personal History: Quill is the daughter of Sim Maellauer and Ciane O’Connel. The Maellauer name is famous for the small chain of bookstores (Maellauer’s Magical Sundries) that splashed across the globe almost overnight. Twenty years ago, Sim opened shops that sold books to Wizards and Witches of the highest achievement. His greatest accomplishment is bringing in many muggle things to those who were curious and full of wonder. Thirteen years ago, his main shop just outside of Dublin, was burned to the ground by a horrible magical fire that trapped Sim, Ciane and his newborn inside and pillaged more than just paper and binding as it destroyed. Sim and Ciane lost their lives, yet their newborn daughter remained safe from the heat and ash in a golden bubble of protection around her cradle. The child, having no living family, was almost put into a foster home until two tiny brothers stepped up to the plate and claimed to be the girl’s godfathers. The brothers, odd and awkward men, were the adventurous Hotwrench explorers who traveled the globe in search of evil magic to eradicate. They hung up their wands and opted to take the child into their home. The child’s gender was not said, most people assume the Maellauer child was a boy.

Personality: Brave and honorable is Quillan. Her quick wit and sometimes scathing humor sometimes gets her in trouble, but she can take as much as she can give and then some. To those younger or less adjusted than she, Quillan acts as a nurturing type who is inclined to take someone under her wing until they learn to soar. Quillan is a bloomer when it comes to social interaction. She watches quietly with a warm and welcoming smile until she gets a feel for the environment. She is adaptive. Within the school hierarchy, she is mature when around the older students, fun and silly around the younger. Personal History: Born on July 14th, Elizabeth (but please call her Ellie) Jane Abernethy grew up in the busy streets of London, England, with her father and mother, Janice and Edward Abernethy. She wasn't very popular in muggle school (students thought she was weird), so when she got her letter at age 11, she was thrilled, along with her parents.

She grew up in the back end of a bakery, owned by her father and mother. She and her mother take care of customers and baking, while her father runs the business end. She developed a love of baking, so that's what takes up her spare time, along with singing and reading.
Personality: She's very friendly, and wouldn't be afraid to approach someone and try to make friends with them. She's bubbly, but mellow at the same time. A smile rarely leaves her face. If it does, something's wrong.
Habits: Singing whens she thinks no one is listening, and baking goodies for...well, her entire tower. She doesn't know how to bake for just a couple of people.
